As we all know, BIOFACH India is India’s largest international trade fair for organic farming products and India's biggest platform for the organic industry where excellent business deals are made. We, the Organic Farming Association of India (OFAI) always feel proud and honoured to represent Organic Farmers and organise Farmer’s Market here for the fifth time in line at the 14th edition of BIOFACH India.

OFAI is the largest and one of the oldest associations of practicing organic farmers and organic farming associations in India. The organization promotes organic farming among farmers and makes various efforts in bringing governments attention in policy making in favour of organic farming. OFAI organises national convention with active participation from organic farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, various organisations and agencies working on agriculture, folk seed savours, and organic consumers in every two years. OFAI plays very active role in international organisations such as Inter-continental Network of Organic Farmers Organisations (INOFO) and IFOAM Organics International.

India has always had a rich and prosperous farming history in terms of the various indigenous crop varieties found here. The traditional food and farming practices evolved here facilitate farmers in making farming self-sustainable and environment friendly.

Organic farming is spreading more and more in India every year. India is the largest organic producer in the world today. There are 15, 99,010 organic producers while 2.65 million hectares of land in India today is under organic farming. If wild resources are also added, this comes to about 4.33 million hectares

At BIOFACH India 2022 OFAI is bringing forward genuine organic farmers from various parts of India at the “Farmers Market and Farmer’s Conference”. We are sure that BIOFACH will not just help farmers in connecting with the global audience but will also be an effective learning and knowledge sharing platform.
