Pratithi Organic Foods (POF) is
committed to transform the lives of small and marginal farmers of rural India
by adapting them into long term sustainable organic agriculture production with
diversified cropping, making them more self-dependent, self-sufficient,
imparting training and knowledge sharing activities; maximizing their returns
from organic crop production,
Over the last 2.5 decades of
pioneering work in organic agriculture in India including last 5.5 years at
PraTithi organic foods (POF) we could reach more than 90,000 farming families
and more than 540000 family members to adopt organic agriculture production.
PraTithi team is very much focused to increase the carbon sequestration by converting all farm based crop waste into manure and incorporate them in the soil to increase the carbon content. Furthermore is taking the initiative of creating diversity in agri forestry by distributing more than 100,000 forest and fruits trees to farmers over the last 2.5 years. It is also creating nutritional kitchen garden of every farming families with various fruits and herbs production to ensure fulfilment of nutritional need of the farming to a larger extent.
